Benzak BDD-707 Special #1 Low Tension Selvedge 14oz

The BDD-707 is a modern regular fit with straight legs. Inspired by a 1940s fit, this block has been updated to meet today’s standard of comfort and room to move.
LOW TENSION is the first BDD exclusive fabric, also known as SPECIAL #1. Together with the Collect Mills from Kojima, Japan, this denim has been created exclusively for BDD. With 14oz this is a perfect mid-weight denim, and the construction is slightly looser which allows for an uneven weaving pattern and small slubs. The selvedge color ID is yellow & green, and represents the first stages of indigo, before it becomes the distinctive dark blue color.
The cotton is a US cotton blend, mixed with cotton from various regions around the world to guarantee a strong staple. Because the denim is sanforized, minor shrinkage is expected after the first wash. 
For the SPECIAL #1 BDD developed a unique goat leather patch with lasered bull logo, to easily indentify the LOW TENSION fabric.
