Benzak BWJ-01 Worker Jacket "Paint Roller" Selvedge Ecru 14oz

Benzak has dubbed this fabric the ‘paint roller’ as it looks like a denim fabric that has been painted white with a roller from the outside. This effect is created by combining an ecru warp with a blue-greyish weft. Because this darker weft is visible through the twill lines, it looks just like a denim fabric with paint on top that hasn’t fully penetrated the core of the denim yet. Obviously, no actual paint has been used, and this fabric is in fact one of the most sustainable fabrics in Benzak's collection. Instead of 100% conventional cotton, it uses 76% organic cotton, and 24% recycled cotton. Candiani is using discarded clothing for the recycled part, which gives the weft this blue-greyish look.
