The Made in England Vintage collection is handcrafted by Dr. Martens' Northamptonshire factory cobblers using original construction techniques - plus Quilon, ther rare, original specification Dr. Martens leather. Thick and corrected-grain with a matte finish, this leather only gets better with age.
This unisex 1460 boot is made with all the classic Doc's DNA, including grooved sides, heel-loop and yellow stitching. Built to last, it's made using one of the finest methods of construction: the Goodyear Welt - which means the upper and sole are sewn together in our heat-sealed z-welt stitch. The boot sits on their iconic AirWair™ sole, which is oil and fat resistant, with good abrasion and slip resistance.
