The 1955 501® Jeans feature a distinctive “Anti-Fit” - a slightly looser cut at the seat, a wider leg, and an overall boxier silhouette compared to slimmer, tighter styles. Like the 1947 predecessor, the 501® Jeans include belt loops as the only way to adjust the waist, hidden copper rivets on the back pockets, and a button fly with zinc buttons.
