This exclusive orange-line selvage features a rigid-like texture with pronounced coarseness and a distinctive 3-dimensional feel, enhanced by clear, defined twill lines. Both warp and weft yarns are ring-spun, lending moderate slubbiness that promises a unique salt-and-pepper texture as the denim evolves - especially in high-friction areas where twill lines become more visible with wear. The warp yarns undergo 20 rounds of dip-dyeing in pure indigo, achieving Kaihara's darkest and most saturated shade. This process ensures the fabric fades into rich, redcast blue hues over time, with high contrast and deep tonal variation in untouched areas.
