ONI's Secret Denim is legendary for its unmatched texture, softness, and character. First introduced in 2012, it is crafted by Oishi-san using an exclusive process with extra-thick yarns from three cotton types, woven at ultra-low tension on vintage shuttle looms. The result is a 20oz unsanforized fabric with extreme slub, a rough yet soft feel, and a distinct hairy texture.

This double black version features both warp and weft sulfur-dyed for a deep, rich color. Despite its heavy weight, the fabric feels surprisingly comfortable. Its uneven texture creates striking contrast as it fades, unlike typical flat-looking black denim.

Production is especially rare, as the specialized dyeing facilities capable of handling these thick yarns are expected to close. Combined with its unique craftsmanship, this makes Black Secret Denim a highly collectible piece.

The Relax Tapered fit offers a comfortable, easy silhouette with a modern shape. Designed with a medium-high rise, it provides extra room through the seat and thigh before gradually tapering down toward the hem. This creates a relaxed feel up top while maintaining a clean, refined look through the lower leg without feeling bulky.
