Maintenance is labor-intensive, relying on salvaged components from retired machines. It weaves at a slow pace - just 5 meters per hour. Yet the GL3 is unmatched. It produces denim with a rugged, uneven texture that captures the true spirit of vintage workwear—something modern, uniform machines can’t replicate. Studio D’Artisan’s new “GL3” series embraces every unique trait of this loom. From yarn shape and dye color to weaving density, everything follows original in-house recipes. The result: denim with an unmistakably raw, irregular, and authentic character.
