This horsehide jacket is inspired by the Type I jacket from WWII. Made from premium Aniline leather, this jacket shows the real beauty of the material. Only water-soluble colors are used in the production of aniline leather. The dye gives the leather its color without creating a smooth finish like a top coat or an insoluble pigmented sealer. The finished product still has the natural character of the skin. Any pores, scars or other flaws that appear on the surface of the leather before it is dyed will still be visible. For this reason, the aniline finish works best on leather that is of high quality. Proudly made in Japan.
